CORPORITUAL VALUES BRIDGED THE GAP BETWEEN THE HANDS & HEARTS THAT CREATED THE IDOLS & THE HANDS & HEARTS OF PEOPLE WHO WORSHIP THEM IN THEIR HOMES.
SOULBATH PEACE FOUNDATION REACHED TO THE IDOLMAKERS FROM KUMARTULI, WEST BENGAL AS THEY CARVED & BROUGHT ALIVE SOME OF THE FINEST IDOLS FOR DUSSERA IN BANGALORE. THE RAJ BHOWMIK BACK TO SOCIETY DREAM SPENT TIME UNDERSTANDING THEIR LIVES, SHARING CORPORITUAL VALUES TO SUPPORT THEM IN A NEW LAND TO HELP THEM LEAD HAPPIER LIVES.
THE ARTISANS WORK ROUND THE CLOCK BARELY GETTING ABOUT 4 HOURS SLEEP WITH CONDITIONS WHERE LIGHTING & HYGEINE ARE POOR. YET THE IDOLS THAT MAN WORSHIPS ARE TAKEN TO COMMUNITIES FOR THOUSANDS OF RUPPEES.
SOULBATH PEACE FOUNDATION BRIDGED THE GAP BETWEEN THE HANDS & HEARTS THAT CREATED THESE IDOLS & THE HANDS & HEARTS OF PEOPLE WHO WORSHIP THEM IN THEIR HOMES.
THANK YOU SRI RAJ BHOWMIK FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY.

TESTIMONIALS FROM RAJ BHOWMIK BACK TO SOCIETY DREAM VOLUNTEERS
Kirti Dwivedi (RB-BTS DREAM Volunteer)
It was a very heart touching RBBTS event today. The artisan was happy & smiled with pride when we said that since our Founder's work has touched this hub of idols made by him & his team over the years & also now since these idols will in next 4 days be spread all over Bangalore, the CORPORitual essence will also spread the same way all over Bangalore & also will be taken back to your main hub in Kumartuli. Suddenly he said softly that "today I wish my father was here too with us. He would have been so happy ... He is 90 yrs old now & has stopped travelling after 2011. Thanks you for the CORPORitual Values & the workshop & the gift. We are very busy with the finishing touches , but nevertheless , thank you for coming ."
We saw a different side of the glam, we saw the hard work behind it, the intense living conditions & the love to do the work tediously over years by 2 generations. We saw that this is stila work where mannual labour , space & skills still play a major role & although they are doing things commercially the rate of work getting done is very slow...as just bare hands & hearts are involved in it ... nothing else... Thank you SPF for providing this platform to serve this section of the society who toil hard to bring what we worship to our doorstep .... It was indeed a unique RBBTS . It involved giving back to most grassroot workers who are struggling for sustainability in their work which involves building massive lovely idols with so much intricacy...only to be submerged after a few days. It showed the detached flow of the work that they do from heart since ages .... It is not a saree to be worn or kept in wardrobe as a keep sake....not an art work to be hung in Living rooms , not a piece of Jewellery to be owned nor a house to be lived in ....it is making temporary idols to be worshiped by the humans who have faith in their worship ... & allowing their creations to be melted away after a few days of coming together of families, loved ones, communities in happiness & Peace...They are the ones who create something from the scratch only to be destroyed after giving a moments happiness & togetherness in galore...
Thank you SPF for allowing to give back to this section of the society today through RAJ BHOWMIK BACK TO SOCIETY DREAM with Kumartuli workers in COX town , Bangalore.

It was just so peaceful & Different way of approaching such people from this worker class & say thanks.
We saw that Tarun was not open at all to the workshop in the beginning, but later when he was called & when CORPORitual book was presented to him, he spoke really well . The conditions they work in is really hard , but still they work so good. Its appreciable . We never really would have understood what it is to participate in a Back to Society event if we wouldn't have participated in it ourselves. It is something very new & different for me at least . Thanks for the opportunity .
